West Ridge Academy (aka the Utah Boys Ranch) Lawyers Try to Silence Victims
Attorneys for the West Jordan, Utah facility funded by The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints issued several inane subpoenas demanding computers and other personal information (like passwords) from the former residents that requested copies of their medical records, as well as a former staff member not affiliated with the web site. West Ridge Academy / Utah Boys Ranch also demands access to any evidence of this visit in 2009.
Baseless Subpoenas Meant to Intimidate
Backed by the Mormon Church, West Ridge Academy’s subpoenas seek to identify any victim that has ever typed a testimonial or written about their experiences at the notoriously abusive facility.
